How it works...
Schools, SENCOs, or Exams Officers get in touch with details of the student(s) requiring assessment. At this stage, I will confirm eligibility, discuss your requirements, and agree a suitable timescale to fit within JCQ deadlines.
Initial Contact
Assessment
I arrange a convenient time to carry out the assessment, either in-school or at another appropriate setting. Each student is assessed individually using approved tests to provide accurate evidence of need. The assessment is carried out in line with JCQ regulations and with sensitivity to the student’s wellbeing.
Report & Form 8
Following the assessment, I provide a clear report with all required evidence. Where appropriate, I will also complete and sign Form 8 to support your JCQ exam access application. Reports are written in plain language, with detailed results and recommendations, making them straightforward to use for both staff and exam boards.
Ongoing Support
I remain available for follow-up questions and clarification. Schools often value this ongoing support, especially when preparing for JCQ inspections or when additional students later require assessments. My aim is to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible for both staff and students.
