Dyscalculia Assessment & ADHD Screener

Service Description

A comprehensive diagnostic assessment for dyscalculia, combined with QbCheck® ADHD screening, for individuals aged 8+ who are experiencing difficulties with mathematics alongside difficulties with attention, activity levels and/or impulsivity. The dyscalculia assessment provides an in-depth evaluation of number sense, mathematical skills and relevant underlying cognitive processes. It is designed to identify an individual's pattern of strengths and difficulties and determine whether the diagnostic criteria for dyscalculia are met. The assessment also includes QbCheck®, a computer-based ADHD screening tool which provides objective information relating to attention, activity and impulsivity. QbCheck® can help identify whether further investigation for ADHD may be appropriate; it does not provide a diagnosis of ADHD. Following the assessment, you will receive a comprehensive written report detailing the dyscalculia assessment results, conclusions and recommendations, alongside the findings from the QbCheck® ADHD screening and guidance regarding any appropriate next steps. Please note: The dyscalculia element of this service is a diagnostic assessment. The ADHD element is screening only and does not provide a formal diagnosis of ADHD. Where the QbCheck® findings suggest that further investigation may be beneficial, appropriate next steps will be discussed and recommended.
