Types of Assessments I offer
Full Diagnostic Dyslexia Assessments
A professional evaluation designed to identify how dyslexia may affect a person’s reading, writing, and learning. The assessment involves a series of standardised tests and observations, carried out in a calm, supportive environment. At the end of the assessment, you receive a clear, written report detailing the findings, strengths, and areas where additional support or strategies may help in everyday learning or work.
Full Diagnostic Dyscalculia Assessment

The assessment involves standardised tests and observations, carried out in a calm, supportive environment. At the end, you receive a clear written report highlighting strengths and areas where targeted strategies or support can help with learning, work, or daily life tasks.
Exam Access Arrangements
I am experienced in completing Part 2 of Form 8 and using a range of JCQ compliant assessments. Schools often commission me directly for this service.

For individuals not yet ready for a full diagnostic assessment or where a more exploratory approach is required.

ASSESSMENT PROCESS

Understanding your strengths and challenges is the first step toward meaningful support. Our assessments are comprehensive yet flexible, designed to suit children, adults in higher education, the workplace, and everyday life.

After reviewing the information on the website—and optionally completing the traits quiz—you’ll choose the assessment that best suits your needs. Booking is completed online with a £100 non-refundable deposit, and the remaining balance is due approximately one week before your appointment. Once booked, you’ll receive an email with a link to the pre-assessment questionnaires (please check your spam folder if it doesn’t arrive). If the assessment is for someone under 16 and in full-time education, we’ll also need input from their school. All questionnaires, along with any relevant reports, must be returned before the assessment. Around a week prior to your appointment, you’ll receive another email with detailed instructions for the day.

Sessions can take place either face-to-face (Maulden, Bedfordshire) or online (not math related assessments). Each session usually lasts around two to three hours, though this may vary depending on age, individual requirements, and the need for breaks. We pace the assessment carefully to ensure you remain comfortable and focused throughout.

During the session, we use a blend of cognitive testing alongside reading, writing, and numeracy tasks relevant to specific learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD, or processing difficulties. Everything takes place in a calm, supportive environment—either in person or online—so you can perform at your best.

Afterward, you’ll receive a detailed report that outlines the findings and includes clear, practical recommendations. Our aim is to provide you with useful insight and support that empowers you to move forward with confidence.
