Mentoring and coaching are suitable for individuals of all ages who want to build confidence, motivation, independence, or life/study skills. It’s especially helpful for those navigating change, facing challenges, or working towards personal or academic goals.

Initial Enquiry
It begins with a conversation. Whether you're a student, parent, or adult learner, you can get in touch to explore whether mentoring, coaching, or a combination of both is the right fit. We'll talk through your goals, current challenges, and how we can work together to support your personal or academic development.

Booking the First Session
Once we’ve agreed to move forward, we’ll arrange your first session. You may receive a short intake form to help me understand your situation, needs, and focus areas before we begin.

Getting to Know You
The first session is relaxed and focused on building trust. We'll explore what you'd like to achieve — from managing overwhelm or improving motivation, to working on organisation, confidence, or study strategies. Whether we take a mentoring or coaching approach (or both), sessions are always supportive, non-judgemental, and collaborative.

Creating a Support Plan
Based on our initial conversation, I’ll create a tailored plan that suits your needs. This might include mentoring-style check-ins and encouragement, or coaching strategies such as goal-setting, time mapping, and practical action steps. The approach is flexible and adapts as we go.

Regular Sessions
Sessions are held online or in person (where available), at a pace that works for you. We’ll track progress, reflect on what’s working, and adjust where needed. Coaching tools and mentoring conversations are blended to support your growth and independence.

Progress and Communication
I check in regularly to ensure the support remains helpful and relevant. For younger clients, I stay in touch with parents or carers where appropriate. A secure private page is provided for access to session summaries, reflections, and any useful tools or resources.

Wrapping Up
Support can be short-term or ongoing. When it’s time to pause or finish, we’ll reflect on what’s been achieved and discuss ways to continue building on your progress. Whether through mentoring, coaching, or a combination, the goal is to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

Tailored support for every learner

Support focuses on building emotional awareness, self-confidence, and strategies for managing school, friendships, and big feelings. Sessions are child- or teen-led, using creative or conversational approaches to help them reflect and grow in a way that feels safe and supportive.

Children & Teens

Further Education (FE) Students

Mentoring and coaching can help students navigate transitions, manage college workload, and stay motivated. Support often includes planning tools, study routines, self-belief building, and help with focus, organisation, or exam stress.

Higher Education

(HE) Students

(NMH Study Skills)

For students with NMH provision, sessions offer structured support with time management, goal-setting, prioritisation, and independent study. We also explore academic confidence, self-advocacy, and strategies to manage overwhelm, burnout, or executive function challenges.

Adult Learners

Support is tailored to your goals — whether that’s managing change, developing confidence, improving work–life balance, or building new habits. Sessions offer space for reflection and practical tools for decision-making, planning, and self-leadership.

Online or In-person

Sessions can take place online or in person, depending on what suits you best.
Online sessions are held via Zoom and include access to interactive tools and resources, offering flexibility and convenience — ideal for busy schedules or remote locations.

In-person sessions are available where possible and provide a more hands-on, face-to-face experience in a quiet, supportive setting. We’ll discuss what works best for you when setting up your first session.

Important Information

Confidentiality

Mentoring and coaching sessions are private and confidential. For younger clients, I keep parents or carers appropriately informed while ensuring the learner feels safe and respected. Any notes or shared reflections are stored securely and only accessible to you (or your parent/carer, where relevant).

Technology Requirements (for Online Sessions)

You’ll need a reliable internet connection, a device with a webcam, and access to Zoom. I also share interactive resources and whiteboards during sessions — no special tech skills needed, and I’ll guide you through it all.

Pricing and Payment Methods

Sessions are booked in advance and paid for securely by bank transfer or another agreed method. Flexible scheduling and short-term or ongoing support are available.

Session Lengths

Sessions are available in 30 or 45 minute formats, depending on age, focus, and individual needs. We’ll decide on the best fit during our initial conversation.
